I was watching the local news earlier when I get a glimpsed of this new transpo in town called water taxi. I was curious about this so called water taxi so I did some research online.

Well , Davao Express Water Taxi is actually a new addition to means of transportation for IGACOS or known as Samal Islands. This particular company offers water taxis that can pick up and drop off passengers at any public or private beaches in Samal Islands , Davao City . The water taxis they’re offering right now are the same design as those being used in Australia and it’s the Pioneer Water Taxi Service offering here in Davao City.

This particular vehicles are capable of carrying 14 persons and routed in following Samal Destinations:

Catagman
1. Mayumi Beach
2. Rocky Beach Resort

Penaplata
1. Fernandez Beach
