It was a quiet monday afternoon , I was bored and hungry. The weather is a bit humid which kinda remind me of siesta time at lolo and lola’s place during my younger years. I missed those worry-free days. I missed the food during afternoon saluhan . Liempo , relyenong bangus , kilawin , lumpiang shanghai , tokwa’t baboy , crispy pata , kaldereta , chicken joy , crispy tadyang and many more .. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mouthwatering .
Luckily for me I could still have those kind of meal even though I’m far from home. Just one ride away from where I’m staying is Gerry’s Grill.
Gerry’s Grill Group of Restaurants currently have two branches here in Davao City. Both of them situated in malls. One is in Gaisano Mall while the other branch is in Abreeza. I decided to have my lunch in the Abreeza branch. It’s not my first time to eat in Gerry’s Grill. I always find myself coming back here , I don’t know why but maybe because I really enjoyed eating Filipino Cuisine .
As I’ve checked the menu I notice that they have a Sizzling Binagoongang Baboy (Php175.00 – Good for 2-3 persons)I haven’t tried it before so I opted for that.

I like what i ordered and indeed my cravings were satisfied with this wonderful dish. The bagoong along with the meat doesn’t taste that salty at all , and the combination of ingredients were perfect I can’t distinguished which is which. 
Aside from the Binagoongang Baboy we also have the classic Kare-Kare (Php285.00 – Good for 2-3 persons)
The Kare-Kare seems okay to me. A sweet bagoong was served along with this dish and it blends perfectly. It’s like were having a bagoong lunch with the choices of dish we had. 
Only thing missing is the bagoong rice .. haha
