Salomon PH's Iconic X-Trail Run is Finally Back in Action

Steep slopes, muddy terrains, technical trail routes, an exhilarating race to the finish line.

After years of putting it on pause, the most iconic race from Salomon is back!

Happening on May 7, 2023, the highly anticipated race will showcase different terrains, elevations, challenges, and is set to take on participants to picturesque yet extreme race at Samal Island, Davao del Norte.

This year’s Salomon X-Trail Run will have two race categories: the 15 KM X-Trail Run (P2,000) which starts at 5:00 AM and the 30 KM Mountain Run (P2,500) at 1:00AM. Being the pioneer of the Green Race movement, no disposables will be provided at the hydration stations. All participants are encouraged to bring their own provisions to minimize waste.

Participants will receive a gear kit which will include: Salomon Race Jersey, Salomon Finisher's Medal, DAX Trucker Cap (for 30 KM Run only), DAX Multi-functional headwear, Post-Race Meal, and Race Timing Chip.

The Salomon X-Trail Run is a regional trail run event in the Asia-Pacific Region that has encouraged people to hit the trails for a decade now. Over the years, Salomon X-Trail Run has had different trails & race venues all over the Philippines.

Known for its exceptional and technical trail routes and one of highly anticipated races by the trail running community, hardcore athletes and enthusiasts alike, it ensures an epic experience for all participants, that is why it remains to be the leader in trail running.

PUSHING THE LIMITS

With the brand’s new mantra, “Tomorrow is Yours,” Salomon continues to push athletes and outdoor enthusiasts to seize opportunities, go beyond their limits, and make their own mark. Registration is now open until March 31, 2023. You may register at Salomon Abreeza on March 18-19​ (1:00 - 6:00 PM)​ and March 25-26 (1:00 - 6:00 PM), or register online via bit.ly/3Lcy4XN. An additional P500 on top of regular registration fee will incur for late registrants from April 1 to 10.

Through a wide range of trail running shoes, Salomon helps people unleash the best version of themselves through fulfilling outside sports experiences and taking on new challenges.

And to gear up for the upcoming Salomon X-Trail Run, participants can choose from technical trail running shoes such as SENSE RIDE 5, a super comfortable pair that is suitable for fast trail runs and easily adapts to a variety of terrains.

Tested by some of the best ultra-runners, the S/LAB ULTRA 3 on the other hand, is designed for long-distance performance and comfort that helps them power through the kilometers, however wet and slippery the conditions.
