Be a Hero. Save Lives!

There will be a launching of the Davao City Voluntary Blood Donation Program: Be a Hero. Donate Blood. Save lives! on April 17, 2024, 8:00 am at Rizal Park Covered Ground, Davao City.

For those who would like to donate, you may visit your nearest District Health Centers or Barangay Health Stations. 

To be a fit voluntary blood donor you must meet the following criteria:

1. At least 18 years old (for those who are 16-17 years old, you may donate but please bring with you a duly signed parent's/guardian's consent form);

2. Weighs at least 51 kg;

3. Feels generally well;

4. Well-rested (had at least 6-8 hours of quality sleep);

5. Well-hydrated (took at least 8-10 glasses of water a day before the donation); and

6. Not experiencing any form of illness.

You don't have to wear a cape nor possess superhuman abilities to be a hero. Donate blood and help save lives!
