Botika ng Bayan in Bunawan Relaunched

Davao City—The City Government of Davao relaunched the Botika ng Bayan in Bunawan on Tuesday, October 25.

The Botika Ng Bayan-Bunawan, located inside the Bunawan Multi-purpose Building, offers free vitamins and medicines for Dabawenyos. Clients just need to present a prescription from a government-owned clinic or hospital and a valid ID.

During the relaunching ceremony, the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC) also turned over boxes of herbal medicines to be distributed through the Botika Ng Bayan.

Currently, there are seven (7) Botika ng Bayan in the city located in Marilog, Paquibato, Toril, Calinan, Magallanes, Bunawan, and Southern Philippines Medical Center. 

Present during the event were officials from the DOH, City Health Office, PITAHC, city government officials, barangay leaders, and  residents of Barangay Bunawan.
